Announcing the Arizona CHD Specialty License Plate
The CHD Specialty License Plate was unveiled at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in May of 2022. Of the $25 plate fee through the Arizona Department of Transportation, $17 of each plate will directly go to the Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care for critical research, education and community programs to lead children born with Congenital Heart Defects to longer, healthier lives.
"The Heart Center at Phoenix Children's is grateful to RaeRae of Light® for making the CHD specialty license plate possible. This is an incredible opportunity. We are grateful for their generosity and that of all who purchase the license plate. This will give hope to families and save lives by providing access to nationally recognized pediatric cardiac care. We aim to leverage the latest technology at the Heart Center to achieve the best possible outcomes."
Daniel A. Velez, MD, Co-Director, Heart Center; Division Chief Cardiac Surgery.
